Sooji – 2 cups
Oil – 1 tea spoon
Chana dal – 1 ½ cups (soaked and grind)
Garam masala – a pinch
Cloves and pepper grind masala – a pinch
Salt – to taste
Coriander leaves – ½ cup chopped
Water – as per need
Take a bowl and pour the sooji in it. Add 1 tsp of oil to it and mix. After the oil had mixed well, add water and give the form of dough (not a tight one).
In another bowl, take the chana dal and add salt, coriander leaves, garam masala and the cloves & pepper masala to it. Mix well. If you prefer to have a spicy one, and then add chilli to it otherwise the mixture tastes great without chillies because of the pepper powder.
Make the small portion of the dough and give it the shape of the small roles. Pour some mixture of chana dal in it and close, leaving only one side open.
