- Use water or milk to prepare a thin batter of gram flour. Pour some ghee in a pan and heat it.
- In the fryer or strainer fill batter up to the half.
- By hitting the strainer on side of the pan, lifting it up and then again hitting it over pan, drain boondis in hot ghee. This process should be finished very quickly.
- Fry the boondis until they are golden in color, drain and then remove the fried boondis from the pan.
- By boiling sugar and water, prepare sugar syrup of one and a half thread consistency.
- To the syrup add saffron water and color. Mix dry fruits and cardamom to the boondis in the syrup.
- 10 minutes later sprinkle over a little hot water, and cover it and let it rest for 1 1/2 hour.
- Prepare round balls with moist hands and Boondi ke ladoo are ready to be served.

Ingredients required to make wheat Ladoos
- Wheat flour – 2 cups
- Tagar – 1¼ cup
- Ghee – ¾ cup
- Cashews – 8-10
- Green cardamom – 4-5
How to prepare
- Crush green cardamom seeds into fine powder. Pour some ghee in a wok and heat it on flame. Keep some ghee and add it if required. When the ghee is heated, add wheat flour into it. Roast the misture on a medium flame until it turns fragrant and it turns brownish.
- To prevent it from browning at the base, turn off the flame and keep stirring the flour. Mix chopped cashews and green cardamom powder into the roasted wheat spread on a plate. Allow it to cool down a little but not completely otherwise it will become difficult to bind the ladoos.
- Now add tagar when the mixture is cooled. Now the mixture for making ladoos is ready.
- Take small portion of the mixture and roll it out with hands. Bind the mixture nto a firm ladoo by pressing the mixture with both the hands. Keep the size as desired.
